The Chinese Academy of Memphis (CAM) provides unique
Chinese language, culture experience to anyone who wishes to attend the CAM. In
order to maintain high standards and to create a productive, safe learning
environment, the teachers and school officials will upon agreement by students
and parents/guardians, strictly enforce the following student rules. All
students and their parents/guardians will be required to understand and sign the
following consent agreement at registration.
1. Attend on time.
2. Bring all required books and stationery to class.
3. Pay attention during class discussion. Raise your hand to speak.
4. Wait for permission to leave classroom.
5. Clean up classroom before leaving.
6. Finish homework on time.
7. Obey the "Student Handbook" of the school at which the class is.
DO NOT
1. Be absent class without the parents' notes. Be absent more than two times
in one semester.
2. Disrupt class.
3. Disobey teachers, school staff, and volunteers who are helping the school.
Intimidation, harassment, and physical/verbal abuse to others.
4. Cheat in homework, quizzes and examinations.
5. Move, modify, or damage school property.
6. Possess/use articles or toys irrelevant to school property such as trading
cards and electronic players.
7. Use other person's property without asking his/her permission.
8. Run, chase, climb, shout, push, or fight at school.
9. Go outside without the teacher's permission during CAM school hours.
10. Forget to wear CAM badge when attending the class.
Consequences
Each violation may result in a formal warning from the school. Any serious
violation may result in expelled from the school without a refund of the
tuition.
